An intimate guest house

La Bastide du Mourre retains the spirit of a Provencal hamlet, with rooms and suites spread across several old buildings, as well as a small independent bastide that can be privatized for greater privacy. There's no ostentatious pomp here, just a gentle, sincere atmosphere: blonde stone walls, olive groves, shady terraces and a swimming pool on the edge of the garrigue. Between discreet conviviality and elegant comfort, the house invites you to experience Provence as in a family home, between simplicity and refinement.

A sanctuary of well-being

Beyond the charm of its buildings and natural setting, La Bastide du Mourre is a haven of well-being. Holistic retreats, weekly programs, signature treatments and gentle practices punctuate the life of the estate. From sunrise yoga and pilates sessions to customized massages, On The Wild Side treatments and moments of meditation, every stay becomes a regenerating interlude. Here, hospitality goes hand in hand with an art of living dedicated to balance, vitality and reconnecting with oneself.

A unique setting in the heart of the Luberon

Overlooking the vineyards and hills of Oppède-le-Vieux, La Bastide is an ideal base for exploring Provence: Gordes, Roussillon, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue or the Provencal Colorado. But it's also the perfect place to sit back and enjoy a glass of wine as you gaze at the hills bathed in golden light. A rare balance between preserved intimacy and openness to a living, inspiring territory.

La Table d'Hôtes

Every evening, the Bastide lives to the rhythm of the Table d'Hôtes. Inspired by the market and local harvests, the cuisine is simple and convivial: vegetables from the kitchen garden, olive oil, farmhouse cheeses and wines from Domaine de Fontenille. Served on the terrace overlooking the vineyards or under the stone arches, the meal becomes a moment of sharing and authentic terroir.

A sustainable art of living

La Bastide du Mourre is part of a respectful approach: faithful restoration of old buildings, rational consumption, partnerships with local craftsmen and producers, On The Wild Side natural cosmetics. Here, luxury rhymes with sobriety, authenticity and local roots, in keeping with the Fontenille spirit.

Provence through the seasons

From the awakening of spring to the golden sweets of autumn, the Bastide du Mourre is explored throughout the beautiful half of the year. April and May celebrate nature's renewal, June and July see lavender in bloom and villages buzzing with life, August stretches out between long evenings and night markets, while September and October offer the magic of the grape harvest and the tranquility of hills bathed in light.
